Alternative Holiday Ideas While On Rhodes

The idea of different things to do while on holiday, instead of just laying on the beach seems to be catching on. The Walking Rhodes team were contacted by a Mrs Faye Bonny who is the Acting Deputy Picture Editor for the Saturday Express Magazine, she along with her husband were writting an article for the magazine covering holiday activities you can do while on holiday on Rhodes. She asked us if we would like to be included in this article, so naturally we excepted, we hoping to generate interest in  walking holiday with us.

As July and August are to hot to walk we offered Mr & Mrs Bonny are newly developed "Evening Walk". We met at a mutually agreed location and then proceeded to our start point, that evening walk consisted of a natural beautiful gorge set away from the noise and hubbub of people and traffic. We then transported them to a historical part of Rhodes history, it was one of the first two landing points of The Knights of Saint John when they invaded in the early fourteenth century and then stayed for 250 years. We then transported them to the beautiful village of Haraki, with it's natural beautiful bay and had cold refreshments and watched the world go by as only the Greeks can. I then returned them to their car for them to return to thier accommodation at Ixia at the north of the Island. The article is to written very soon and published in the not to distant future so lets hope for a good review and lots of interest in Walking Rhodes and all its activities.
